Taco Salad
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb lean ground beef
- 1 C. chopped onions
- 2 pkg Rice-A-Roni beef flavor
- 1 C. salsa
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 8 C. shredded lettuce
- 2 med tomato, chopped
- 1 C. shredded Monterey Jack or
- Cheddar cheese
- 1 C. crushed tortilla chips
Directions
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onions; drain.
- Remove from skillet; set aside.
- In same skillet prepare Rice-A-Roni mix as package directions state.
- Sitr in meat mixture, salsa and chile powder; continue cooking over
- low heat 3 to 4 minutes or until heater through.
- Arrange lettuce on serving platter.
- Top with rice, tomato, cheese, and tortilla chips.
