Spanish Style Chicken

Ingredients
- 8 Whole Chicken Legs
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbs vegetable oil
- 2 Lge onion chopped (2 cups)
- 2 clove garlic
- 2 can tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Directions
- Sprinkle chicken legs with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken; brown,
- about 4 minues per side. Transfer to paper towel to drain.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add onion and garlic; saute until almost
- tender, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Return chicken to skillet along with tomato sauce, broth, thyme and
- remaining salt and pepper. Cover; about 10 to 15 minutes or until no
- longer pink near bone and internal temperature registera 170 degrees
- on instant -read thermometer.
