PORK CHOP CASSEROLE
Ingredients
- 8 PORK CHOPS
- 1 TSP SALT
- 1/8 TSP PEPPER
- 4 MEDIUM APPLES, PEELED AND SLICE
- 1 CUP WATER
- 4 MEDIUM SWEET POTATOES, PEELED
- AND SLICED
- 1 TSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
- 1 MEDIUM ONION, CHOPPED
Directions
- WIPE CHOPS; BRONW THEM IN A LITTLE FAT IN FRYING PAN. PLACE CHOPS IN
- A LARGE CASSEROLE; SPRINKLE WITH HALF THE SALT AND PEPPER. PLACE
- APPLES AND SWEET POTOTOES IN LAYERS ON CHOPS AND SPRINKLE WITH
- REMAINING SALT AND PEPPER. SAUTE ONION IN THE SAME FRYING PAN WHERE
- CHOPS WERE CROWNED. ADD WATER AND WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE. MIX AND
- POUR OVER CHOPS, APPELS AND POTATOES. COVER AND BAKE 1-1/2 HOURS IN
- A MODERATE 375 DEGREE OVEN.
