SAUSAGE SUPPER
Ingredients
- 1 POUND PORK SAUSAGE
- 1 CUP CHOPPED ONIONS
- 1 GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
- 2 CUPS STEWED TOMATOES
- 2 CUPS DAIRY SOUR CREAM
- 1 CUP UNCOOKED ELBOW MACARONI
- 1 TSP CHILI POWDER
- 1 TSP SALT
Directions
- IN A LARGE SKILLET FRY SAUSAGE UNTIL PINK COLOR DISAPPEARS. DRAIN.
- ADD ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPER, COOK SLOWLY FOR 5 MINUTES. STIR IN
- TOMATOES, SOUR CREAM, MACARONI, CHILI POWDER, SALT. COVER. SIMMER
- 30 MINUTES, STIRRING FREQUENTLY, UNTIL MACARONI IS DONE. SERVE HOT.
- SERVE WITH GREEN SALAD AND HARD ROLLS.
