BEEF 'N' CHEESE RIGATONI BAKE
Ingredients
- 1/2 LB LEAN GROUND BEEF
- 1/2 CUP CHOPPED ONION
- 1 CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED
- 1 JAR 15 1/2 OZ. MEATLESS
- SPAGHETTI SAUCE
- 1/8 TSP PEPPER
- 1 CAN 15 OZ. RICOTTA CHEESE
- 1/2 CUP MILK
- 1/2 TSP SALT
- 8 OZ. MUELLER'S RIGATONI, ABOUT 5
- CUPS, COOKED 8 MIN. AND DRAINED
- 1 CUP, 4 OZ., SHREDDED OR
Directions
- 1. In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, onion
- and garlic 4 minutes or until meat is lightly browned, stir
- frequently. Stir in spaghetti sauce and pepper. Reduce heat; simmer
- 10 minutes.
- 2. In large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, milk and salt. Add
- rigatoni; toss to coat. Spoon half the rigatoni mix into a 8x8x2-inch
- baking dish. Top with 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1 cup sauce. Repeat
- layers once. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- 3. Bake in 350 degrees ferenheit over 20 minutes or until heated
- through. Makes 4-6 servings. Preparation time and bake time 20
- minutes each.
