Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 (16 o.z.) can whole tomatoes
- undrained
- 4 cups water
- 2 beef flavor bouillon cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 3/4 cup sliced celery
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 (10 o.z.) package frozen mixed
- vegetables
- 1 cup medium egg noodles, uncooke
- 1/2 teaspoon dried whole thyme
Directions
- Cook ground beef adn onion over medium heat until browned. Drain on
- paper towels; discard pan drippings. Add next 8 ingredients; bring
- to a boil. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add vegetables,
- noodles, and thyme. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, about 20
- minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
