Pigeon Peas and Rice
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs Olive Oil
- 1 Cup Chopped Onions
- 4 Cups Beef Broth
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 Cup Pigeon Peas
- 2 Cups Rice
- 2 Tbs Seasoning (Sason)
- 1 1/2 Tsp salt
- 1/2 lbs Pork Chops
Directions
- Heat oil in a large cardero, saute the pork meat and onions. Stir in
- the Beef broth, bay leaves, and pigeon peas, and bring to a boil.
- Add the rice, seasoning,and salt. Cover and cook for 15 to 20
- minutes the pigeon peas are almost tender.or until the rice is tender
- (adding more water to the pan if necessary). Remove by leaves and
- serve immediately.
