Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef for stew
- 2 can beef broth
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 6 carrots cut in 1" peces
- 4 potatoes cut in quarters
Directions
- In nonstick dutch oven brown beef
- Add broth, bay leaf, thyme and pepper. Cover and cook over low heat
- 1 1/2 hour
- Add carrots and potatoes. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until done,
- stirring often.
- Mix 4 tbsp, all purpose flour and 1/2 cup water until smooth. Cook
- luntil mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly. Discard by
- leaf. Serves 8
